well it depends of the sender. but you havent really won anything yet. it doesnt hurt to try, but dont accept if they charge you any fees. i know vodafone has all these free tickets to basically any event so if u have a vodafone cell and account, maybe u subscribed to god knws what and u won things...though thats not likely to happen. |

i wouldn't really say it's a junk mail... just mail back, it won't hurt you, if they then should write you pay .,.. $ OK, then it was a junk mail... otherwise, just wait, if they want something from you, they'll inform you soon enough. |

You are right to be suspicious.
I suspect you left out part of the message because this email does not instruct you to do anything. Usually these emails (or follow-ups) - request that you do something - like send them money - to stay in the draw for the tickets. Or send them money to have the tickets couriered to you.
This one doesn't make sense because we are within 2 weeks of the final game. How many people would have passports ready and be able to fly across the world - on a moments notice - if they won?
Not many! The timing doesn't make sense. Don't respond to this email. If you really win something - they will also notify you by telephone. They'll know your name and details - and they won't ask you for any money. |

Ok, those emails are scams. I get them all the time. Once they sent me a website to go to and they said it was free but really it was $30 to sign up. Don't email them back with any information. |
