I lived in Hanover for 6 months last year adn flew out of there a couple times.
HLX and Air Berlin are the main discount carriers out of Hanover. These will get you pretty much anywhere in Europe, which, as you probably know, is probably your best bet from Hanover. You could try a search engine through the Hanover airport, but I would bet a flight through a discount and then to Frankfurt, or London would end up being cheaper, but then you have baggage issues.
Honestly, I would look to train it to Frankfurt (3 or 4 hours I think) for any chance at a New Orleans flight. Possibly Berlin as well (1-2 hour train) Most likely you will still need to catch a connector through Chicago, NYC, DC, or Atl. To find that flight I would use Orbitz.com or Hotels.com, both have served me well for European flights in the past. |

go to cheaptrips.com or cheaptickets.com. I fly from Tulsa, OK to Hannover for 300 dollars. Not bad. this is a round trip ticket for me. I check for cheap flights all the time. Good look with searching. |
