I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on what the city of Bacharat,Germany has to offer?

I am traveling to Bacharat,Germany in March of 2007. I cannot find anything directly linked to the city to find things to do. Can anyone out there help me out with some knowledge on this particular city?!

Not big town but with some history. On the Rhein.

Oh it's Bacharach I think not Bacharat.

John M
I've not been to Bacharat, but I have been to many other German cities. My best advise is to learn a few key German phrases if you have no German language schooling. The reason? Many Germans, especially the teens, speak fluent English. But if the first thing you say to them is in English, they most likely will take offense and may not be willing to help you. But if you break the ice with a "guten tag" (greeting meaning "good day"), and try to speak to them in their native language, they will greatly appreciate that and may be more than happy to speak to you in English.

My motto for travelling: the best or worst thing about any country is its people. Germany, I found, is filled with many friendly, wonderful, and fun people. Have fun and enjoy the many happy memories!

p.s. Take a digital camera with extra cards and use LITHIUM batteries! ( I went thru 20 Duracell's in four days and only 4 lithiums in nine days!)

ARRGH!!!
It's no wonder you don't find any info about that city, as it doesn't exist in Germany!!! Please check again, at least your spelling...

I think its called Bacharach.
