I was in Germany last May in 2006. I arrived in Frankfurt on May 11th, travelled to Hamburg for 6 days to visit relatives, then off to Berlin for a few days, and then finished my trip in Germany in Dresden (I continued on to Czech Rep and Austria). It's still considered late spring then so you can get all types of weather, or a 'mixed bag' as we like to call it. We had quite a few days of sunshine which brought the temperature up to a balmy 18 - 20 degrees celcius, and then it would cloud over and cool down to the early teens and rain a lot. So bring short sleeved shirts for the warm days, and a jacket or sweater for the rainy days. Have a great trip, I really enjoyed it over there. |

It is hard to say. Last year in May was chilly and rainy. All of sudden in June/July was so hot and August was rainy again than Sept./Oct. warm. For this year they say we all get very hot warm summer. Who knows???? I guess the global warming... Normally is in May nice weather and the temperatures are 75-80. I hope you having good luck, if you here in Germany. |

Depends on where in Germany you go. And it kind of depends on the climate you are in now. You can check this stuff out at weather.com. It gives averages for worldwide locations. |
