You can have a beer allover the world. For me most impressive was "Deutsche Museum" a techinical Museum --- the best technical Museum Germany has. But you need time.

You can see most of the highlights of Munich in a day. I would say you must see the frauenkirche and the marktplatz and eat at the hofbrauhaus.

If you want to get out of the city, go south to the Bavarian Alps... about an hours drive (take a good map). Stop in Garmische, see the Zugspitze (tallest mountain in Germany), the monestary at Oberamagau, and king ludwigs hunting lodge (I forget the name. Stop at the Weisskirche on the was back.

you should visit a castle there very nice there trust me i visited some and they were a great experience

Try this.... Planet Hollywood is in Marienplatz as well as Hofbrehaus. Lots of shopping too have fun - I did!

Marienplatz (en: Mary's Square) is a central square in the city center of Munich, Germany since 1158.

In the Middle Ages markets and tournaments were held in this city square. The Glockenspiel in the new city hall was inspired by these tournaments, and draws millions of tourists a year.

Marienplatz was named after the MariensÃ¤ule, a Marian column erected in its centre in 1638 to celebrate the end of Swedish occupation. It is home to Munich's Old City Hall (Altes Rathaus) and the New City Hall (Neues Rathaus).

The pedestrian zone between Karlsplatz (Stachus) and Marienplatz is a crowded area with numerous shops and restaurants.
