real soon I'm going to Berlin for 3 months. I'm curious to know if 160 euros is enough per week?
Just so you know, Thats after the rent & utilities is already paid for + I won't be driving so no car rental payments. --So this is all fun & nothing more---. I'll be receiving 400 euros / month. ((( 100 / week ))) + I'm bringing with me over there about 700 euros. ((( 58.33 / week )))

I would not to live off that a month but that is me. Id prefer more.
If you can live on less great and good luck. I do not think I could do it. |

When everything is paid (you probably need bus/U-Bahn tickets) the 100€ will be enough. I would keep the 700€ first for unexpected costs and when you don't have them I'd use this money for an extended shopping tour before you leave Berlin!;-) |

Its possible but it will not be easy.
I hope you like bratwurst a lot cause your gonna have to think in terms of budgeting everything.
It can be done, I did it for four months once and I hired myself out to three people as a tutor in English that were taking huge exams for a Job. This helped me make it through the four months.
So just be careful and budget and maybe you can do it!

Well...
Berlin, our capital is quite expensive, so -- if you use your $$
wisely, you may make it on 160 Euro's per week!!!Just don't go to expensive restaurants...(eat at snack-bars, frenchfries-stands, etc.)
Berlin is a great city!! You'll L O V E IT!!!!!!

Yep, that sounds ok to me. I don't spend that much per week pof living in Berlin, but then of course it'll be more for you as you'll be doing touristy things, so have to take into account admission fees and more bus/subway fares.
You can get a decent meal (take-away) for as little as 4 or five euros, and as I assume you'll be preparing some meals for yourself, I think that amount will tide you over. |
