Hell, no! Beer has to be served chilled. 4 to 7 °C is best. Lukewarm beer, at least here in Bavaria, is considered a criminal offense, and might have the landlord tared and feathered and chased out of town! (And, yes, some of us own guns.)

Altair
Oh my God, no! I think serving warm beer is a sorta crime here in Germany!

frackledJJ
No, that is not true. Beer has to be served - and enjoyed - cold.

People get sued and land in jail when serving warm beer in Germany.

Yes, it is true, but just for a former part of German. In East Prussia (Kaliningrad) they did so. When I was fifteen a friend of mine and me tried it. It should help against influenca. It tasted so worse. We felt so worse, and we were so drunken just from 2 bottles of beer. And it didn`t help against influenca. Here is the receipt:
2 bottles of Lager
3 cloves
2 egg yolks
2-4 spoonful of sugar
200g cream

whipe the cream and mix it with the sugar and the egg yolks. Put the beer with the gloves in a pot and boil it When boiling mix the cream with the beer. Drink it as hot as possible.

Most Germans keep the beer in the cellar, so it is usually the same temp as down there which is usually pretty cool. Sometimes beer is kept at room temperature.
