But you'll always find a towel on the lap, and they're not looking at each other... Just trying to relax...
At the end, they go to sauna not for sexual reason but for relaxing.. And the heat will distract them somehow...
This is in most of europe, not only Germany.. unlike US...

Well, in some Sauna, we are naked. But, there are rooms for men and rooms for women. So they don't have to sit in one Sauna, if they don't want. On some beaches (look for "FKK"-signs) it's also allowed to swim naked, too.
In some Sauna and most beaches, you can wear you underwear / swimming clothes if you want. |

Yes i did using a towl, after 3 minutes drop the towl and did what you suppose to do, bath in the hot water pool and relax long side the pool. You see but don't take notice as noboby is looking at you. Everbody enjoying the freedom, it was the best |

They have men or woman saunas and also mixed saunas.
Of course they are naked in there ... that comes from Finn land.
Ever heard of it ... Finish Sauna?
The purpose for the people to go into a sauna is not to stare at each others genital areas. They just want to relax!!!
I love it ... and i never had an erection ... far away. And i am only 27 years old, so believe me ... its everything ok with me. Have a nice day!

Most are clothing opptional. Here it is quite different than in the US. Here on tv they will show nudity from a movie, but not the violent part. That is oppisite of the US. It is a way of life here. Men do not get erections, at least not the German men, they are used to it. And women are not embarresed. When you go to some saunas here, you could possibly see 3 or 4 generations of the same family naked surrounded by other naked families. And no one staring at others, unless like you, not used to it. |

it is true ..but you have a towel around you . You have mixed saunas and seperated Saunas (for each sex ).
And yes some males get excited (thats why i never go to a mixed one again ) |

Not everybody is naked at the sauna, some people wear towels. Germany is a lot different than North America, nudity is quite common at the beaches and swimming pools as well. You will also see lots of nudity on television...just not shows but also commercials. We are use to seeing nudity here, so about the only people that would get aroused are tourists from North America...here the kids grow up with it. |

i personaly find it disgustin since i´m from the us and live in germany but germans seem to like it so, why not? I won´t go in there by the way! :-) |
