Is post delivered on a Saturday in Germany?

I sent out a letter today to Stuttgart via airmail. I was told it would take 2 working days. I would like to know if households in Germany receive mail on a Saturday.

Here in Germany the mail is delivered at each working day.
Means from Monday until Saturday.

Yes, post is delivered on Saturdays.

Question is:
From which country are you sending mail to Stuttgart?
Or did you mean "within Germany"?
Within Germany it takes about 1 to 2 days (most of the times, sometimes longer if you're unlucky)
From an European country to Germany it mostly takes up to 3 to 5 working days if sent by airmail.
From overseas to Germany (by airmail) it mostly takes 5 to 8 working days.

Aiksas
Yes, if it is delivered by the German post.
There are other services like for example DPD who don´t deliver on Saturdays or only with extra fees.
