The U-Bahn really is very easy to use. It's clean and safe and brings you virtually anywhere. Trains generally travel every ten minutes (more frequently during rush hour).

In my opinion the best and fastest way to get around Munich.

The only difficult part though is the pricing systems. Don't even try to understand it! When standing in front of the machine with 50+ buttons, opt for a day or 3-day ticket, you can't go wrong with that.

Yes it is! The U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (street level) are some of the best transportation services in the world. They interconnect at many stations around Munich. Know your destination and look it up on the map. Find the nearest line. Pay your fare. Get on and enjoy your trip!

..actually the system in Munich is more modern and easier to use

I found the Metro in Paris a little bit puzzling. U-Bahn und S-Bahn in munich are much easier to use (also not as simple as the metro in rome, but at least not as old the metro in london).

i believe so, use a map..
