Is the car rental company "Sixti" a good company?

How can they rent cars (like smartcar) for so cheap? Are there any catches?

Sixt or however they spell their name is a Car Rental company. No better, no worse than the others. Yes, they have cheap deals on some cars, but like the other answer mentions when you start adding all the 'liitle' extra things like going over the milage limit(read the fine print!) it can get exspensive. Sixt makes their main money by renting high end cars(Mercedes, BMW's, etc) for about a year and then selling them as 'Executive Used Cars', or something like that. Your best bet, go on the Internet and compare offers. Good Luck in your travels. P.S. If you are going to do any major Autobahn(Highway) driving then you do not want a Smart! They are great in the cities where parking is a nightmare, but no get up and go when you need it.

Sunshine
Yes rented from them before had the best price to offer .
i don`t know how long you renting for but all of the rental car co are beating each other up with the best deal for a weekend .

Yes I believe so. I have used them before and always had a good experience. I used them in Stuttgart Germany.

You mean Sixt. Yes, they are OK, but watch the small print. As soon as you add insurance and all those reasonable things, they are not so cheap anymore. They just give you a skeleton price to lure you, and once you take out insurance and drive some real miles, wham, they're as expensive as everybody else. But their cars are good.

Renting car by SIXT is to expensive, if you need a car look by EUROPCAR, their prices is better.

the cars are really good and mostly new. but i don´t think that theyare cheap... for one day you have to pay at about 70€ + gas for a middle class car...

ARRGH!!!
You mean SIXT. Yes, they are ok. There is also Europcar, but I think Sixt is better.
I drive a Smart cart and it easily manages on the autobahn, up to 130 km/h. There are even faster ones, my is an old one... There is no objection to you renting a Smart at Sixt.
