Depends on what part you're looking in . . .We lived about an hour from the French border and our winters were generally overcast...not much snow the last few years but it was super rainy and overcast. The summers and late spring are generally beautiful and don't get terribly hot. Fall is more wet and overcast but not depressing. I'm from the upper midwest and it seems like the weather in Germany is a lot like ours here but with less snow.

The overall year round tempature in GERMANY, is not as high as the UNITED STATES! GERMANY'S tempature is equivelant to the state MAINE, in the USA!!!!!

I don't have any facts or anything to back this up, but I've lived here for over a year now, and it seems like it's gray and overcast a lot more often than it's not.

Oh my god, YES! But I guess it depends on where you'll be. It seems it was more overcast and cloudy in the northern and eastern parts of Germany.

It is one of the reasons I left! Winter is pretty much cloudy and cold for nearly 6 months. There ARE days of sunshine, but cloud cover is normal. Also, in the winter months, it gets dark at 4 PM!
