Is there a Barnes & Noble in Germany?

I am currently working at Barnes & Noble in the US and we are moving to Ramstein Air Base in the fall. Is there somewhere to transfer?

There are no Barnes & Nobles stores in Germany, sorry. However, there are several big chain bookstores (Hugendubel, for instnce), which also have either complete "foreign language bookstores" or "English bookstores" in the bigger cities. I don't know if there is one in Frankfurt, but I definitely know they have one in Munich, and one in Berlin, so I guess they have one in Frankfurt. It would surprise me if they hadn't. I guess a store like that would be your best bet. Try their webpage: hugendubel.de/buchhandlungen/frankfurt_s...

Best of Luck!
Oh, and: Welcome to Germany!

All Barnes and Noble locations are within the United States, so unfortunately there are no stores in Germany.

No Barnes and Nobles but you may be able to get a job with AAFES Bookmark. They should have a store there in Ramstein.

Melissa
No, there isn't a Barnes & Noble, but they have something just as amazingly wonderful. It is called Mayersche. http://mayersche.de/
They are about the size of B&N, and are always easy to spot because they are so colorful! haha.

But, I hope you speak at least some German if you are hoping to work anywhere there...

I know if NONE in Germany sorry, and I have been to MANY book stores there too.

When my friends their come here they always want to go to OUR Barnes and Nobles for it is like going into a huge Library of Congress almost it is so grand.

Maybe one day they will. If you are living on base I am sure you can find something similar to it to do.

Good luck.

Why not ask your Human Resource Department at Barnes & Noble and they might even be able to help you relocate.
