Is there really a street in Berlin named after the traitor "Stauffenberg"?

I heard there was ,but it can't be true can it?

Yes, there's a Stauffenbergstraße in Berlin - and also in other cities.

Stauffenberg tried to kill Hitler, Himmler, and Göbbels, and planned together with others to overthrow the Nazi-government in order to put an end to the war (a war that could not be won) and protect germany from further destruction.

If the plan had been successful many many thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) of lives would have been saved: civilians, soldiers (not only germans!) and last not least people in the concentration camps.

Would you still call Stauffenberg a traitor?
