Maybe you could try just buying a cheap bike and then when you leave sell it to someone or return it to the store haha |

Berlin is a great bike riding city. As long as you don't mind a little rain now and then. Long term rentals are pretty expensive, or at least not cost effective. I would recommend searching on craigslist and buying a cheap bike and then selling it before you leave. You will lose some money, but not as much as if you were renting, and then you'll have some extra cash right before you leave. |
