Is this website safe for accomodation in Munich, Germany?
The site is http://www.munich-oktoberfest.com/wiesnengl.html
I am looking into reserving a caravan here but the website looks basic and asks that I send a Cheque off to reserve, so I was wondering if anyone knows if this site is legit?
Or is there a way I can actually find out if the website is safe and legit myself?
Maia is always correct since she is from east Germany!!
We had a very well known song 'Die Partei die Partei die hat immer recht'.
English translation The party the party is always right!
same applies for T- Maia!!
you have to always give her the BA

Me personaly I would not send any money or a check without having at least a written agreement.
I wouldn't trust a company whose phone number starts with "900" and the administrative contacts have a ".ag" address (Argentina), and the admin doesn't even live in Bavaria ("Elze" is a town somewhere in the north).

I took a look at the site, it looks like a typical German small-business website. If you are really worried a way to check whether they are legit would be to contact the Tourist Information Office in Munich. They can tell you whether the Wiesn' Camp was there in 2008 and whether there were any problems.
