Looking for on-line stores in Germany?

My cousin, who lives in Germany, recently had a baby and I'd like to get a present for them. Could anyone recommend a good on-line store for a gift card or even better an on-line store that sells baby things? It would have to be a German store of course, or at least one that delivers across the EU.

thanks in advance

The thing is: Do you speak German? quelle.de, otto.de, neckermann.de -- these are Germany's biggest ones, and they all sell baby stuff and accept credit cards. But why buy baby stuff at all? Don't you think they have enough of that? Rather buy them something funny at amazon and have it gift-wrapped and sent to them. They're truly international; I'm German and have often bought from amazon US, and also at stores registered with amazon US. I NEVER was disappointed!

And wouldn't it be (just an idea!) a better move to buy something at the place where you are, and send it via good oldfashioned snail mail, accompanied by some sort of "welcome to earth" card? If I were them, I'd rather appreciate that than a gift coupon or an online order.

The 2 biggest German are Quelle and Neckermann
unfortunately their sites are in German

i guess it all depends on what you want to send. However if you want to go with something other than Ebay, you can go with things from some of the bigger department stores. Karstadt and Galeria Kaufhof are very common and large department stores across Germany and both have online stores. Many products can be bought through Aldi which is a large retailer. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to purchase items through an online store, but i'm pretty sure that your sister could create a list of things that she likes and you could just as easily wire her the money to buy it.
