Well, depends on what you want to know. I'm living in Lüneburg :)
It's a very nice little city, has a lovely downtown with great shopping possibilities and the buildings are traditional half-timbered houses in very good shape.
Also Lüneburg has a medium sized university with studying possibilities from engineering, business administration, teaching, psychology etc. The university is probably the reason why Lüneburg has a blossoming nightlife, I think it's one of the towns with the highest bar-per-habitant ratio in Germany or so.
Well, a lot of things to do in the evening, a shopping for the day and lots of nature surrounding it, so very charming :)

It is between Hanover and Hamburg and a very nice, medium sized town that is frequently invaded by tourists.

Lueneburg is very nice. I love when the Lueneburger Heide is in full bloom.
Here is a great link (but I think it's only in German) :

Lueneburg is definitely worth a trip to go and see & experience.
