Himmler was the FÃ¼hrer of the Schutzstaffel (SS), Hitler's most devastating and among the German populace most hated troops. It was Himmler's idea to found the SS. He also was responsible for some more cruelties in his promotion of the "pure Arian race", like forced sterilizations, euthanisation of the physically or mentally handicapped, and organized rapes by SS troopers, which culminated in the founding of the "Organisation Lebensborn", a large-scale project to breed "genuine Arians".

Himmler was "the FÃ¼hrer after the FÃ¼hrer", the second leading and most influential person in the Reich. Some people even say that Hitler's ideas were mostly based on Himmler's influence on him.

using Wikipedia or Yahoo!Answers, isn't that honest research? At your times at high school (and probably mine), we wouldn't have had the opportunity to talk with people from different parts of the world, and get their opinion. We now have. Isn't that a big advantage, compared to "library wisdom"?

You can search for information's on the internet or go to your local library and find book about "Heinrich Himmler".

If you write: Heinrich Himmler
in the yahoo search engine there is a lot you will find about him. You could write a book rather then 3-4 pages. Read it and write.
