I am going to visit the Cebit exhibition from 15th to 20th March 2007. I need a good hotel with easy transport to the exhibition. The hotels I found are all very expensive (Euro 250+). I am looking for something around Euro 100 per night.
Go on the Hannover.de website for hotels. Try Leipziger Hof in Doehren, close to the cebit, has only few rooms with breakfast and it approx. 60 Euros. They also have private rooms in Hannover available specifically for the Cebit Messe. Type in your browser "Messe Gaeste in Hannover" and maybe that will bring up a site where you can find out the rooms and prices. Going private is always cheaper, you will have to share a bath, but you get a good breakfast and have a clean room and those are usually in the area of Laatzen, Doehren and Mittelfeld which is close to the cebit.

If there's an exhibition during those dates, it would be really difficult to find cheap hotels, most of them will surely raise their rates. Law of Supply and Demand. Sorry. :(
