Looking for a hotel room in Berlin for an overnight stay with my family. Would like to be near sites & good rate if possible.

The NH Berlin Mitte hotel is right in the city's historic center and is right beside the corner Gendarmenmarkt and the shopping area Friedrichstrfe. It is a Superior Tourist class hotel... check out the web-site before you decide & be careful because a lot of the cheaper hotels are in undesirable areas... Choose the better location, even if it means spending a little bit more.

Where in Berlin? Berlin is very spread out. There is no real city center. Any location is good, actually with Public transit. Just stay away from train stations if you are with family. Try www.hrs.de for the best rates. Charlottenburg is a good location that is cheap. Search by distance from train station and you will be fine.
