i´d recomend you to go to Hamburg!
It´s germanys 2nd biggest city and its amazing!
Just have a look at all the pictures google gives you or have a look at the wikipedia article, what it offers for tourists!

No Best Answer Voter is definitely right and I was there once too. They are such nice people. Hey and I saw this guy fighting. He made some weird moves ( I guess it ought to be kendo or so ) and was yelling: "The Pagan is running, keep him I will bash him once, twice.." it was a memorable behavior that guy had. Regretfully he was arrested by local police men when he tried to wash his crapped pants in a nearby river. Some people were shocked because of the rotten fish smell and the flies around this micro willy

Miss Sophie
Hi,
I looked up your profile and saw that you are brand new. It would be easier to answer your questions if you added a little more details. Like what tastes you have. What do you want to do here? What are your interests? If you like the mountains - go to the south of Germany. If you like the sea - go to the north. If you like oldies - listen to Radio Nora, if you like hip hop, you won't find it there.
Do you want to party - try Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich. You want it quiet - don't go there. You get my point?

You want to see something crazy - try Mainz tomorrow on monday, they freak out in the carnival season! (and in Köln too):

Here can you take a preview on almost any place you like:

Just be little more specific and you will get better answers.

Hope this helped!

Best wishes,
Miss Sophie

My favourite places in Germany were Munich and Wiesbaden. Wiesbaden is not far from Frankfurt so you could visit there, or even stay in Frankfurt and visit Wiesbaden.

Have fun!

I loved Heidelberg - the castle on the hill, the river, the town - beautiful

Berlin for partying, culture, arty scene. It is quiet a poor city, though.
Munich if you have money and like to let everyone else know!
