ALL of them? You're kidding. I'm German and I don't even know them all.

Use Wikipedia to check out the following:
Lake Constance (or Bodensee in German)
the Rhine (Rhein)
the Main
the Danube (Donau)
related: the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal (Rhein-Main-Donau-Kanal)

These are the most important ones, as they are of economic and/or political importance.

Then enter into Wikipedia:
list of rivers in Germany
and find out here
list of lakes (Germany subsection)
about the lakes.
But you really needn't know them all. Maybe the river Spree as it flows through Berlin, Germany's capital, and the Wannsee, the biggest lake in Berlin. One should have heard of them.

[I'm sorry Yahoo currently doesn't allow posting direct links; I always get the 999 error page when I try.]

Missing the Elbe river in the list of the "most important" rivers is a bit amusing, I'd say, regarding the fact the one of the largest seaports world-wide is located on the Elbe plus it's one of the longest rivers in Germany.

Speaking of lakes, Lake Constance is by far the largest one in Germany, with not much to follow. I'd mention the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte (Mecklenburg lake district) second, even though it's not a lake, but rather the "land of a thousand lakes".
