Return address is hard to read. From Germany. Can anyone help?
A friend of mine, from Germany, sent me a birthday card and I'm having trouble reading the address. This is what I got out of it...
Her Name
New Siedleuy 10 (Slurs after the Siedl, I don't know what the 10 is for)
00000 Dresdeu (not sure the street... kept the address a little private)
Germany
(maybe Siedluuy it looks like luu and then the end part of the last u goes right into the y at the end. I'm sure it's Sied**** something. I'm sure the street is Dre*d**)
Name
Street name and then house number
zip code then city.
Looks like she is from Dresden I would have to see the rest of it to actually tell you if its right.

Siedlerstraße in Dresden, maybe.

German addresses look like this:
Forename Surname
Streetname Housenumber
Zip-Code City
So for example (and i guess thats exactly the adress you tried to keep a secret
Frau Surname
Neue Siedlung 10 ("Neue Siedlung" is the name of the street)
01259 Dresden
Germany
rio-blanco
I´ve sent you the address by mail.
Lauren and Winny2: Your addresses are wrong. You must know Germans don´t write the letters of special endings if it is hand written we make a wiggly line or a straight line or a mixture of both.

It is :Neue Siedlung 10 ( street address ) in Dresden ( city )
winnie2
"New Siedleuy" (or whatever it is) is the name of the street and "10" is the house number.
00000 is the zip code, but I'm sure there are other numbers there.
Dresden is the city.
That is the correct way to write an address in Germany.
