Sending Packages to Germany?

Hello,

I need to send a package to Germany, but was wondering, do I put the address in English, or German?

The package is going to, Koln, Deutschland, aka Cologne, Germany.

So what do I do? English, or German?

Mario is more or less correct, but the post/zip code in Germany is placed before the city. so it will be:
XYZ Street 22
50000 Koeln
Germany

you need to write it in german , cauz the curier in germany is most a german guy and cant understand your english address

wrtite it like the following sample Mr Question
Venloer str. 502
KOELN
50000
GERMANY
it will arrive at your receipient !!!

if you need to get the postcode , check out the link !
http://www.postdirekt.de/plzserver/

it's in english ( right upper corner ) as well

I practised the address writing like above already in germany to send my post . it's easier to read and find the postcode . it was a suggestion from the german post at the beginning of the 90's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... smarti !

I imagine writing it in German would be better, but it will still get there if it's written in English. My mother sent packages (addressed in English) to me when I was out in the middle of nowhere in China and they arrived safely - the cadbury's creme eggs were in a bad way though!

Mario is totally wrong. You have to put the zipcode in front of the city. And it will arrive also if you send it to Cologne in Koln.
