There was snow on Easter which was unusual!

Yes generally there is and the proper spelling for help is Leipzig. I have been there several times, it is not far from Weimar and my former gf's grandparents used to live there.

Now my close friend from Weimar has moved there and loves it he said. There is still snow there in March but I know this year it is a bit warmer than in 2006! It was horrible in 06

You can't believe, but it's still snowing some areas in Germany, specially in Bavaria, because there is near the Alps. Just right now I hear on the Autobahn is a bad accident happened, over 30 cars came together because the ice rain.
I think in Leipzig is OK. Today is April 6th and I believe soon we have the spring round the corner. I hope so......

clubchantel
I just got back from the Leipzig Area and there is no more snow.

what are u asking?

Rick
I live in Weissenfels which is about 40 Km from Leipzig and we didn't get any snow at all this year...until a couple of weeks ago...then it just melted away. There was no snow in Leipzig (I work in Leipzig). About the only place you'll find snow in Germany at the middle of March is in the southern part of the country. Actually, we can usually go out in T-shirts and B-B-Q on St. Patrick's Day...except this year...it was cold.

Bored Stiff
too far north, check in the south, where the elevations are higher, such as bavaria

duh if it snows in the US as much farther we are than germany to the NP then yea i think it should snow.....right?
