There's lots to do in Berlin! For going out, I would recommend hitting the Eastern districts Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. There are hundreds of great clubs and bars there. In Germany you can legally drink at the age of 16 (at least the softer stuff such as beer), so don't worry about not being allowed into bars or pubs! It depends on what music you like. For more alternative and indie music I would recommend the Magnet Club or the Bang Bang Club. Both have websites, just google them for more information! Great clubs for electronic music are the Watergate and the Weekend (also have websites). As for clubs, officially you have to be 18. But I know from my own experience that it usually isn't a problem to get in anyway. Just give it a try, else stick to bars or pubs. A great going-out street you should see is the Oranienburger Strasse in district Mitte (at the train station of the same name: Oranienburger Strasse). It has e.g. the former squat house Tacheles, which is now an arthouse, and many nice pubs and bars and restaurants (and they're all very affordable). During the day: well, Berlin has tons of interesting sites and places to see, such as the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag, the zoo....Depends on what you like and how much time you have! If you just want to relax and chill, it's also nice to hang out by one of Berlin's many lakes, e.g. the Schlachtensee, the Wannsee etc. Enjoy your time!

I am pretty sure that the camp administration would take you to the city and you'll go out with your fellow volunteers.
