Ich hab Fernweh
a lot of these people are stereotyping, and are very judgmental. everyone shaves. clothing is indeed like in the united states. a majority of the girls dont like the german band tokio hotel. and hey are NOT emo

(Ich liebe Tokio Hotel =)

Rosa
I have lots of german friends...there are all different.

some our really shy and others really loud. They wear various clothes..jeans and t-shirt..nice dresses..they have blonde hair and dark. blue and brown eyes or green

You'll meet fun and boring german girls and you'll meet horrible and kind..just how the world works :D

they like dancing etc.

Teen German girls are quiet laid-back as far as dressing up is concerned. Some tend to be minature versions of grown-ups and some look like prostitutes with long boots and heavy eye make-up.

Everyone is different. I really don't think anyone cares about where you are from.

Domi
Sam, what is your problem...and I would like to know where you get that info from.

German girls are a lot more open then Americans as they get to experience life and their independence a lot more quicker then American girls do.
German girls dress very hip and very modern, are engaged in a lot of sports usually and are very active. You can hardly find any overweight teens in Germany.
Hope this helps.

i take german as a second language and my teacher told me that german's generally tend to like american culture. They like our clothes, food, music, and all around style of living. most people would love to live in America, even though they don't like us very much politically.

♥Néa
They are a lot like American teenagers. They don't have a whole lot of prejudice against us as far as I can tell.
A lot of them like the same music as us, like Lady Gaga and Lily Allen.
A lot of them like Tokio Hotel, but a lot don't.

Dörty
Sorry to disappoint you. They are very much like US teens. Same styling (maybe more sexy then in rural US areas).

They play often sports, some do music...

They will be nice to you.

There won't be a general oppinion about american teens. Some will be curious about your american life, other won't give a damn, other's will have prejudices. Just like anywhere else in the world.
