I like it, yes. I'm native Bavarian and grew up with that. It's the freshest kind of meat (or sausage) you can get (some people wait for it at the butcher's on monday morning to get the freshest kind of stuff). You eat it with sauerkraut (yes, here we are!) or fried potatoes (no, not french fries!). Or just a slice of bread. It's a real good kind of sausage, but never ever eat it cold! The real thing to prepare it is heat it in a bowl of cooking water until it's boiling hot through and through, then put it on a big plate, slice it open, and squeeze the interior out onto the plate. It looks bloody, but tastes delicious.
And I bet you don't want to know what the skin of the sausages consists of. No. There are some things it's better not to know. |

Depends on who made it. Some can be awesome, and some are so yuck, you wouldn't even give them to a dog. Or if you did, the dog would probably turn away and just give you an unbelieving look.
But yeah, from the right butcher, they can be really good. |
