If you want to express that C.´s Power on the audience is in fact the matter of using the horsewhip. (metaphoric)
(Eigentlich wird die Macht die C. auf das Publikum hat beherrscht durch die Reitpeitsche.)
But "Beherrscht" is not the best term and the whole sentence is gramatically not good.
Better is:
Eigentlich wird die Macht die C.auf das Publikum hat durch die Reitpeitsche dominiert. (dominiert=dominated) |
