Nope. The Swiss dialect/ Swiss German is much more throaty than "normal German", and one even hears that when Swiss people talk "high German". It is also much easier to detect when they speak English. So: no, never happened. To me, at least.

No, never! We might have the same appearance but our dialect is not the same. So, when I speak people know right away that I am from the Rhineland area.
