There are a number of connections each day, but it does take you between 7 and 9 hours for the trip, so it may be a better idea to look for a cheap airline ticket.

As the journey is rather long, I'd recommend to take a night train. It costs you around 20 Euros additionally but you get a
bed in a 6-bed waggon and you can sleep quite well and reach Munich fresh in the morning.
