I lived there as a kid and remember a lot of snow during the winters. I've looked at the web cam on the Kitzingen website and haven't seen snow at all. What months does it snow there? How long and how deep is the snow usually? If you live there or have lived there please answer and give your impressions of the area. I was there around 1982-85 and lived in Marshall Heights. The snow was a lot of fun on the big hills leading down to the school.
We just returned from living there for 2 1/2 years and snow was pretty sparse. (I miss the Weinachtsmarkts!) We were told that there has been a trend of less & less snow there. (Global warming...) (Many of the World Cup ski events were cancelled last year due to lack of snow...) You have probably heard, but the army bases at Wuerzburg & Kitzingen are closed or soon to be closed...
Ow my foot hurts
I live in Stuttgart, 2 hours south. There has been less snow even compared to 2003. Temps are usually in the 40s which doesn't help it in the snow department. Germany has been getting warmer over the last 20 years
