Depends, if you plan on sticking around base, probably boring, and repetitive, but if I were you, I would get around, and actgually see Germany and experience life there.
As an army wife in Germany, you are likel yto experience the time of your life. Germany has so much to offer, great shopping, beautiful scenery, great culture, an awesome nightlife, etc. No matter where you are, there is a conveniant way to get where you want to be. Germany is extremely clean and evnironmentally friendly. The pepole are extremely willing to help you in any way you may need it. If you have chidren, they should easily make friends off base, because most Germans speak English. It will be almost like moving to another America.

It can be great, or it can be miserable. Depends on the person. If you get involved with other Army members or spouses it can be pretty good, but if you get involved with the greater community, study some of the language, (despite most germans knowing some or a lot english, it is always nice if you make an effort), travel, educate, and learn you will be a change person after that time.

well, it can't be that bad, my dad was stationed in bamberg bavaria, and he met my mom here and it went well for 10 years, then he decided to leave the army but he went on living here by us (ok, now he's back in the states, but that was a personal problem)

my opinion: It works just fine, and it should be lots of fun getting to know another country and everything around it

I'm a army wife too and living now in Germany. It's nice and my friends love here in Germany too. We have here everything, the commissary, PX all that and we also go out to the downtown and go shopping by German stores and traveling different places. Don't worry, you like it.

my close friend and I were just talking about this today... she says she LOVED it. She was there for 3 years, and wishes she could go back. Her kids loved it too. She says that most everyone wants to stay there instead of returning to the states.
