Freedom. Americans like to believe they know what freedom is, but...:
-drink in the streets at any time of day
-cops arent to be feared
-no "dangerous areas" like inner city ghettos
-public transport gets you anywhere and youre not dependent on a car, so you can drink even more (of course you can drink in buses, subways etc)
-people are less religious and if they are, they dont discriminate against atheists and atheists dont discriminate religious people |
