they are called germans. i think it is insulting them if they are to be called nazi's because it is a part of their past that even most of their ancestors tried to fight from happening but happened anyway. many lost friends and families during that brutal regime.
i think they would also love to be called deutsch since the german name of germany is deutschland. |

I absolutely agree with ms_priss! I am German (to answer your question :-) or Deutsche, and the Nazi´s are a part of Germany´s dark history. I don´t know, why people condemn us, because of the bad mistakes of our ancestors. We are a new generation and we learned of the mistakes of our ancestors, and s.th. like that will never happen again! So, whoever thinks, he can call German´s Nazi´s is wrong, it really hurts us. But there is no need to call us Deutsche, because it is just the german translation of it. |
