cuckoo clocks? She be annoyed by nexy year and hat e germany, get the Chocolate, candy, stuff like that, you cant beat the Chocolate over there. but if you want something under ten bucks, then dont worry bout it, cuz shipping is gonna be more expensive and with christmas right now you might get lucky and get it by V-day. depending on where you live, find a German store and but it yourself there. Merry Christmas - Frohe Weihnachten |

Nuremberg Lebkuchens ("Nürnberger Lebkuchen") are very expensive indeed, wherby it's not the Lebkuchens, but the shipping costs that make them so expensive.
Maybe the best idea, if you want to keep it cheap, would be to ask for a CD with German christmas songs. You'll know the tunes; I mean "Silent Night, Holy Night" and "Oh Tannenbaum", that's the same in every language. But I think you will find it interesting to hear all the songs you know sung in German. And, yes, there will be a German version of "Jingle Bells", too. |

cuckoo clocks are more swiss than german. What you should have sent is Libecochen (A famous german cookie) and a stein (beer mug). These are quintessentially German. |

You could ask for the famous Nuernberger Lebkuchen (cookies), a poster from Neuschwanstein Castle, chocolate, a German recipe book, etc. |

Steins and cuckoo clocks (esp from the Black Forest) are popular collectors items. Oh and for this time of year, ask them to send you back the toy soldier nutcrackers. |
