1. Christmas market
2. Dom (cathedral)
3. Take a 'cruise' on the 'Main'-river
4. Take a walk from the center of Frankfurt, past the 'Alte Oper' (old opera house) through the banking district, up to the Hauptbahnhof (Main train station), passing through the Red light Quarter.
5. Visit the (horribly tiny) zoo or take the train into the hills of the Taunus and walk up to it's highest point, the 'Feldberg'. Have lunch or coffee and cake there.
6. Visit the botanical garden, the 'Palmengarten'
7. Visit the part of Frankfurt, called Sachsenhausen for some 'Apfelwein' or some of our good beer in the many pubs.
8. Talk a stroll along the river 'Main'
9. check out the many cafes for great coffee and cakes

This is the 'winter version' since I don't know when you plan on going. For summer, I'd have many more...

Enjoy!

Other than the Rhine River than is nothing that great to do in Frankfurt since it is a financial hub.
Frankfurt is a party town if that is what you're looking for

I would recommend taking a trip to Koln-Bonn area. Chocolate Museum, Olympic museum (focuses on the Berlin and Munich Olympics), tons of art museums, roman history museum. Beethoven's birthplace (in Bonn). The Rhine River runs through the heart of Cologne. This is also a good party town.
