My personal favorite is the town of Schiltach. It has lots of the half-timbered houses, a small stream runs through it and there is a 500 year old inn, the Weysse Rössle, which has a good restaurant. |

Freiburg is a nice, large town with a beautiful old-fashioned historic center. It's on the edge of the Black Forest.
Titisee is a smaller town, which you can get to from a train in Freiburg. It's right up there near the mountains, and has a nice lake. |

I would highly recommend the Weinstrasse. It drives through some beautiful scenery. And you'll get to taste some great wines. Other than that, any town that had "Bad" infront of it, means it's some sort of a holistic town and each town ususally has it's own mineral water. Don't forget to locate them and try them in each town. It's amazing how different they all taste. And it's good for you. |
