when you spent more than one day in cologne, do a cruise on the river rhine..

the chocolate factory is very interesting, like one mentioned before..
go for a walk along the rhine (you see.. one interesting part of cologne is the rhine :) )

climb the dom(the old gothic cathedral)... a lot of steps but its worth it..
visit the inside of the dom, maybe the juwels too..

visit the old town of cologne... the best time is in the evening ... and took some drinks (kölsch - a kind of beer)
in the typical pubs.. the people are very friendly there...

if you like to go shopping.. there are several oportunities to do so in the city..

maybe the link could help you to plan your trip

have a nice time!

The best thing in Cologne is the train to Dusseldorf.

Goddess of Grammar
Climb the Dom steeples. Great view!
Also rent scooters and scoot along the Rhine.

The chocolate factory is not like in the Willy Wonka movie! Is not so much big and there isn't so much things to see....

The Dom is very impressive, the most important monument in Koln.

There are a bunch of good art museums: the Wallarf-Richartz (old paintings), the Ludwig (modern art) and the Roman Museum.

There is not an "old city" (Koln was interly distructed during WW2) but there nice shops, and of course, good restaurants.

borscht
Chocolate Factory!
