Don't look for the Berlin Wall because it is not there anymore. Instead there are pieces all over town. They are slowly building a line on the ground marking where it stood. Berlin is a massively big city so you'll need a visitor's card that you can buy at the Branderburg Tor tourist office so you can use the trains freely and enjoy the city properly. There is just too much to see so get a good map and start marking places depending on your taste. |

Bus 100 or 200 (dubbledecker) takes you along all important sights-sarts at ZOO-station.Its an ordinary route.Buy a day ticket for 9US$ and use all public transport for the whole day ,you can even take a 25 min boat ride from S-Bahn Wanssee to Kladow and back.During this trip you can see the Berlin beach.

i really enjoyed checkpoint charlie, the museum called story of berlin...and (sp) saucesanhausen...its a political concentration camp....
but if you are into shopping at all...definitely go to ka da wie (sp)...its a 5 story shopping center! |
