The answer depends on what you mean by famous: interesting? most visited? most popular? best known? best to live in? most monuments to visit?

These cities are in any case a must when travelling around Europe: Paris - London - Rome - Venice - Barcelona - Munich - Amsterdam.

although i'd have to agree they're famous, it's hugely missing eastern europe. You can't miss prague and budapest, they win out over dublin and edinburgh!

I live in europe...you should make your own assumption and just travel to places that aren't so famous...They are less expensive and also you might find some places more interesting than others. Choose a topic of intrest and run with it! Happy traveling!
