Very clean, industrious people. Not friendly, but not because they aren't nice - they just don't like fake smiles. Beautiful scenery, beer, socialism. |

I have visited Germany once, for three days, to Wolfsburg. I went with an open mind and found it to be a very nice country.
The most significant difference between Germany and my home, England is how clean and tidy Germany is.
My conclusion was, this isn't because there are armies of street cleaners in Germany, Germans just have more pride in their nation and don't drop litter in the first place. |

Clean, modern and distinguished.
Food, beer and culture are fantastic. I will never tire of German meals. The people are not friendly or unfriendly. When I finally made a real German friend I realized I had a friend for life.
The only disappointments I have of modern Germany is their treatment of Turkish immigrants, and incredibly expensive cost of living. |

Lived there over 20 years ago and have been in many parts. In recent years it has changed a lot. The only place I would go to now is Berlin.
