well, here a 2 ideas, one is if the card is just from you, the other one is from you and at least one more person ("we"). its written with an unformal "you" for someone you know well.

they all mean something like "dear ...! i am thinking about you and i wish you all the best. i hope you get well soon. best wishes ..."
- if there is anything else you want to add, tell me and i can change it. or write something in english and i or someone else will translate it!

version 1: greeting from you and no one else
"Liebe (name of the woman)! [or for a guy: Lieber (name of the man)!]
Ich denke an dich und wünsche dir alles Gute. Hoffentlich wirst du bald wieder gesund. Viele Grüße, (your name)"

version 2: greeting from you and at least one more person
"Liebe (name of the woman)! [or for a guy: Lieber (name of the man)!]
Wir denken an dich und wünschen dir alles Gute. Hoffentlich wirst du bald wieder gesund. Viele Grüße, (your names)"

I'd chose a personal approach. Something like

"Gute Besserung. Das ist dumm gelaufen. Mach, dass Du aus dem Krankenhaus rauskommst. Wir sehen uns!" [signatures]

That literally translates to:

"Good recovery. You've been on bad luck. Escape the hospital as fast as you can. bcnu"

It's German, it's blunt, it's direct speech and not very much politically correct. But that's the beauty of the German language.
