Sorry to tell you, there is no European language. Almost every European country has its own language (German, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, English).

Anyway, the word sounds Spanish but I don't know it's meaning, sorry.

From the Royal Spanish Academy, the authrity on definition of Spanish words:

La palabra Jimenez no está registrada en el Diccionario. Las que se muestran en el recuadro tienen una escritura cercana.

In other words, it's not in the Spanish dictionary, and it's a Spanish word. So the best guess is that it's a derivation or a form of a name that has been used for a long time, but no one knows even the root language.

MOM KNOWS EVERYTHING
What European language???? There are dozens.
