THere isnt a US Hospital there on the base. They used to go to Nurnburg. There are a couple of German Hospitals in the area. Not everyone in the local hospitals speak English. Just wait for your son to get in touch with you.

American soldiers in Germany usually have their own hospitals, so called US hospitals. Have a look to the closest one around Grafenwöhr (this is the right spelling).
Can't you call your daughter and ask her? Or has she already delivered?

Where is your son? Your daughter-in-law should have given you this information a long time ago. My friend knew seven months before her due date which hospital she is going to deliver her baby.
Other than that, it doesn't matter if he is an Lt or CPT, or a MAJ as well as an E-8, they all go to the same hospital when their wives have a baby.
