Hahaha. 14 years ago, when I first came to Germany, there was no such thing as the Internet. I improved my German by reading German magazines, doing crossword puzzles, watching TV and being forced to speak German because my husband's family doesn't speak any English. None of his friends would speak English with me, either, even though I know at least some of them can (they're doctors and professors, so I know they must be able to speak at least some English).

Look at this website:
http://www.rosettastone.com/

In my opinion it's one of the best language program.

Yes, the Rosetta Stone language program is very good. They have it for all kinds of languages. It is awesome because you can learn it at your own pace and with the right pronaunciation at the comfort of your own home (computer)
They sell them everywhere in the USA, even in the Malls they have stands with those packages. They are not too expensive at all.
A German friend of mine has worked for them and she has a masters in GERMAN and ENGLISCH. She is a translator. So I could only highly recommend their program.
I learn Spanish right now with Rosetta Stone and I like it a lot!

Breezer, you should join some group also to learn more German...speaking is the most important. And watching German TV also helps. Good luck!

I've learned it by writing letters and emails. I never paid much attention in school, but always had top grades. Hope you understood my answer to your baby names question?

Hi Breezer! As you probably know by now I'm German, therefore, didn't need to learn it... lol
But I looked at a few sites for you and I believe these would be pretty helpful:
