What is life like in Germany?

As a socioeconomically fine family in Berlin?

Life can vary per family and individual.

Personally I loved living in Germany and going there most years. I get in better shape, eat better, walk more. I live a healthier life style in Germany than in Vermont where their is not much for public transportation and even if they did there is nothing much to do where I am.

Germany I could go almost anywhere by train or bus. I absolutely love it and recommend it!Sh

Ive been living here for three years now.Life here is very peaceful.Food will take a little while to adjust to.For me it wasnt hard to because the food here is so mush fresher than in the states. The chocolate and coffee here are the best.Poeple rely on public transortation more than cars.I really love it here!!!I would recommend visiting here!!

I lived and worked in Berlin for seven years, being a native Bavarian, and I guess the first thing you'll like about Berlin is their fantastic public transportation system. In my humble opinion, it's the best in the world. And what you probably wouldn't expect in a big city with some million inhabitants is that there's green all around. They have some nice little parks in almost every neigborhood, most of them with a children's playground, which you can enjoy in summer, and do what most Germans do as soon as the sun comes out: Besides of watching soccer games on TV, barbecueing is Germany's national sport. There's always some beer involved, and it's a man's job.

It is quiter espically on sundays when most shops are close but it is depently better than England and cheaper plus people are more aware of the nature and climate change so don't be suprise if they charge you for a bag in supermarket. But it is great and quite.

I've lived in Germany for nearly 3 yrs now, I absolutely love it!! I would never move back to England, it's so clean here, there's a lot more green areas i just feel fitter and healthier than i did living in England. I love the food too and so do all my friends when they come to visit. The general rules and regulations of living are a lot stricter and more complicated than in England, but i think that makes it a place too, IE, its harder to get married, get a job, or even have a day off work.......but i still love it!!!

I went to Germany in 06' for the world cup, its really nice there, the food isn't the greatest but....its really good. Well what I noticed is sooo many people smoke there, every where you look you just have to see someone smoking, its crazy. But over all it has very beautiful places and sights to see. Make sure to go to the "Black Forest" have funn!

Germany is fun - just avoid Berlin and Eastern Germany ... that part of the country is depressing and xenophobic.

I prefer Hamburg, Cologne or Munich

My mom used to live there for 18 years.
Its very mellow and peaceful, and its a nice place to live.
My mom lived in the countryside and thats how it was there.
I didnt really like it,because im more of a city girl, and there wasnt much to do.

It's what you make of it i suppose and what you like...

In terms of Quality of Life it was ranked lower than both the UK and France, but it certainly has great transport particurally in Urban areas.

As i said it's what you make of it.
