What is something/someplace romantic in Munich?
I am going to Europe on my one year anniversary and I want to suprise my spouse with something incredible on the day of our anniversary. I have no clue what there is to do in Munich that may be romantic or atleast really fun. Thanks for any ideas!
Very romantic would be a ride in a horse drawn carriage through Munich. You can book one of those at the tourist information at Marienplatz.
If you have more time, make a day trip to Castle Neuschwanstein and walk up there together in the snow - what else could be more romantic than this?

There is a Japanese tea-house located in the English Garden (big park right in the middle of Munich). It is closed in the winter, as far as I know, but you didn't say when you were coming. It's not the cheapest thing to go there, but they offer Japanese tea ceremonies and the like, and the atmosphere (surrounding area) is very pretty.

Ratskeller, across from AM Marienplatz in the New town hall. Also there is a quaint garden across from a yellow temple called St. Kajeethahs ... beautiful place at night
