Just to let you know, today is June 1 and I live in Germany and it is still kinda cold here. I would bring jeans, a short sleeve shirt, and maybe a light jacket to go over it just in case. Its not really warm here yet. And I live in southern Germany so it would be the warmest here. Today I have on a turtle neck and a jacket when I go out.

unbelievable

normal summer clothing, slightly warmer clothes if you plan on going to any of the area w/ a higher altitude, but pretty much T's, shorts, good walking shoes, and a sweat shirt or two.

Your normal summer attire will suffice. Shorts, tank tops, tees, and a comfortable pair of shoes -i suggest birkenstocks.

Pat Q, F-YOU! Americans are the biggest facists on earth but with a disguise on and a self induced lobotomy fed by arrogance and TV propaganda selling you your beliefs and obsessions. And where ever you are from, YOU need to learn that many nations have performed horrible acts toward humanity. Big scale with Germany true, but don't forget Stalin........even more than Nazis.....MILLIONS more.

If you wear shorts and/or Teva-type sandles, you will stick out as a tourist and be an easier target for pickpockets. Wear long trousers and leather shoes.

It is unusually cold in Germany right now.
Usually the weather is close to the weather in the Northwest or Northeast. It can get terribly humid in July or August, but it should be fine in June.

PS.: Patrick Q.: Not the least bit funny. Grow up and think before you write stuff like that.

Actually, the weather can change dramatically in Germany. I would suggest normal summer attire, but also pack some sweaters or a jacket and jeans just in case.

layers, it's all about layers. it will be warm during the day and cool at night. pants (or capris), shirts and a pullover. shorts are nice when you're out hiking or doing a lot of walking (and don't care that you look like a tourist).

depends on where you are... the south is very hot and the north is cooler. normal summer attire would be good, with a couple pair of jeans and a sweater of some kind... just in case.
